VICTORIA FALLS

VICTORIA FALLS

VICTORIA FALLS

Straddling the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls is one of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders in the world, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, or “The Smoke That Thunders.”

This UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases the mighty Zambezi River plunging over a basalt cliff in a dramatic curtain of water over 1.7 kilometers wide and 100 meters high. The sheer volume and power of the falls create a constant mist that nourishes a lush rainforest ecosystem and creates brilliant rainbows in the sunlight.

Beyond the jaw-dropping views, the surrounding area is alive with wildlife—hippos and crocodiles in the river, elephants roaming nearby forests, and colorful birds flitting through the spray-soaked canopy. It’s a rare mix of raw power and natural beauty.

Visitors can enjoy a wide array of experiences, from scenic helicopter flights and sunset river cruises to heart-pounding adventures like white-water rafting, bungee jumping, and swimming in the famous Devil’s Pool. Whether you're chasing adrenaline or serenity, Victoria Falls offers a front-row seat to the elemental forces of nature in action.

HWANGE

VICTORIA FALLS

VICTORIA FALLS

Located in western Zimbabwe near the edge of the Kalahari Desert, Hwange National Park is the country’s largest and most iconic wildlife reserve—an untamed wilderness that captures the essence of the African safari.

Hwange’s landscape is remarkably diverse, ranging from open grasslands and mopane woodlands to seasonal wetlands and desert dunes. This variety supports an extraordinary range of life and offers spectacular scenery that shifts with the seasons.

The park is home to one of the largest elephant populations in Africa, often seen gathering in great herds at waterholes. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, African wild dogs, and over 100 other mammal species roam freely here, alongside more than 400 species of birds. The mix of big game and rare species makes Hwange a must-visit for serious wildlife lovers.

Guests staying in private lodges and camps enjoy game drives, walking safaris, and hide-based wildlife viewing—especially rewarding during the dry season when animals congregate around pumped waterholes. Hwange is a place where the rhythm of the wild still dominates, offering authentic, crowd-free safari experiences deep in the heart of Zimbabwe.
